A.D. Marble is looking for a full-time Hazardous Waste Specialist/Project Manager with 5 to 10 years of experience. This position allows for a flexible/hybrid work environment.
This individual will serve as a Hazardous Waste Specialist and a Project Manager. Responsibilities include managing the waste and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) components of projects. Candidate should possess knowledge in technical and regulatory requirements for a broad range of environmental subject areas, including PADEP Act 2 requirements, PennDOT Publication 281, and NEPA. Candidate should possess OSHA 40-hour certification.
Job duties include:
· Managing budgets, coordinating with task managers, and developing client relationships for the waste components of our projects
· Conducting field work and preparing reports for PennDOT Phase I, II, and III (soil and groundwater) Environmental Site Assessments
· Possessing strong knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements for PADEP Act 2 regulations
· Presenting at client and agency meetings
Skills and abilities should include:
· Educational background with B.S. in Environmental Science or related discipline
· Asbestos and lead-based paint certifications preferred, but not required
· Taking initiative and working in a team environment
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks
