About the Role:
  • One-on-one mentorship.
  • Weekly feedback sessions to evaluate progression, ask questions, and give feedback as to what you’d like to see and do more of.
  • Exposure to engineering, mapping and surveying industries.
  • Support Geospatial and LiDAR staff with needs for project progression.
  • Intro to LiDAR software such as Terrascan GIS, GPS and LiDAR.
  • Meet with senior leadership to ask questions and discuss career goals and advice.
  • Access to our intranet, which houses exclusive photos and information from all service lines.
  • Resume building upon completion of program to ensure all skills acquired are highlighted for future success.
  • Potential for hire upon completion of degree, along with future internships.
What you bring:
  • Majors: Geomatics, Geography, Geological Sciences or other Geospatial field preferred.
  • Preferred Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Year in school: Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Masters.
  • Demonstrated verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Technologically and systems-savvy: Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Self-initiator, results-driven, strong attention to detail.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Core details:
  • Paid Internship
  • 25 - 40 hrs/week
  • Temporary / Seasonal (2-3-month duration)
