Total Energy Solutions, LLC (TES) is seeking an Experienced Generator Technician to join our dynamic team in Odessa, Texas. This hands-on role is ideal for someone highly skilled in diesel and natural gas generator service and repair , with the ability to work confidently on both the mechanical and electrical sides of the business.
As a key team member, you'll play a critical role in keeping our customers' power systems running smoothly while representing one of the most trusted names in the power generation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform service, repair, and maintenance on diesel and natural gas generators.
Inspect, repair, and start up generator systems, including load bank testing .
Troubleshoot and service generator components such as alternators, wiring, switches, and batteries .
Apply strong mechanical and engine technical skills in inspection, disassembly, failure analysis, and reassembly .
Identify root causes of equipment failure and execute corrective actions efficiently.
Conduct on-site maintenance and repairs at customer locations.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety standards.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in generator service and repair (diesel and natural gas systems).
Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical principles.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Professional communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
Must pass drug, alcohol, and background screenings .
Willingness to travel as needed.
