Job Title: Furniture and Installation Member

Job Description

Join a dynamic team to assemble and install furniture for new local businesses. As an Installation Technician, you will work both in the field and occasionally in the warehouse, overseeing a crew under the guidance of the Lead Installer or Project Manager. Your role involves performing furniture services and relocation duties, including delivery, assembly, moving, debris removal, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete furniture assembly and installation as per specifications to meet customer expectations.
• Inspect furniture for proper setup according to manufacturer's guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, crews, and supported organizations.
• Load and unload furniture onto trucks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures while performing job duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and moving furniture.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using tools such as a cordless drill, tape measure, level, and box cutter.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
• 1 year of experience in furniture assembly, moving, or installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined individuals preferred.
• 1 year of experience working in a furniture warehouse or moving company.
• Experience in construction, building materials, troubleshooting, repair, and building systems is beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $25.00/hr.
