Job Description
Day to Day:
Insight Global is hiring a Full Stack Developer in Reston, VA, to build data-driven dashboard applications for a government client. The role is primarily front-end focused (70–95%) using JavaScript and Vue.js, with some backend work in Node.js and/or Python. Candidates should have strong testing experience with tools like Jest or VueTest, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including GitLab pipelines, SonarQube, and Twistlock. Must Haves:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 5+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years of experience developing web applications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (if no degree, at least 7 years of overall IT experience)
• Strong frontend JavaScript development experience using one of the following frameworks: Angular, React, or Vue.js (preferred) *Note this individual must be willing and open to learning Vue.js (current framework being used in the environment)
• Backend development experience with either JavaScript (Node.js preferred) or Python programming languages
• Strong unit and E2E testing experience using tools such as Jest, PITest, VueTest, and SonarQube or Twistlock for containers
• Familiarity with GitLab runners, CI/CD pipelines, and container security Core Work Hours: 9:00 - 3:00 PM EST Location: Hybrid - 3-4 days on site - Reston, Ft. Belvoir, or McLean
Interview Process: 1 and Done 30 minute Microsoft Teams Interview
Duration: 6 month contract to Hire
Conversion Salary: 165k+
Start Date: ASAP, Onboarding takes about 2 weeks
