Job Opportunity: Stand Up Reach Operator

Our client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking a Stand Up Reach Operator to join their team. As a Stand Up Reach Operator, you will be part of the shipping/receiving department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have experience operating power industrial equipment.

Job Title: Stand Up Reach Operator

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay Range: $22.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate forklift in a safe manner at all times, and hold a valid Forklift Operator's certificate.
• Operate a stand up reach, cherry picker and sit down forklifts
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices or other transport vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tank.
• Dispatch of truck drivers (back-up), answers phones, filing, inspects order and delivery paperwork for accuracy, assist Logistics Manager with reporting and shipment planning schedule

What's Needed?

• Must have a valid Class A driver license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years Stand Up Reach, Sit-Down and walkie electric pallet jacks (e.g. forklift, etc)
• Must be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Computer literacy Outlook, Word, Excel
• Must be precise and pay attention to details Physical requirements: some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, twisting, bending and lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs
