Overview

Duties

• Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures to ensure efficient food production.
• Follow sanitation protocols to maintain cleanliness and safety within the manufacturing area.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in packaging finished products for distribution while adhering to quality control measures.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues.
• Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records of production data.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Operate forklifts safely for transporting materials within the facility.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety practices is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience with packaging processes in the food industry is a plus.
