Immediate opening for a flexible, floating part-time person with experience cleaning to provide janitorial cleaning and fill-in cleaning for 2 to 4 hours nightly Monday through Friday in office environments in Berks and Lancaster Counties during the evenings. This position includes filling in wherever is needed on a nightly basis. Locations may be as close as a few minutes from your home and sometimes 30 minutes away. We are looking for a responsible person, with good communication skills, with a strong work ethic who has a strong attention to detail to perform general office cleaning duties. Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.
• Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
• Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules.
• Collect building trash daily placing it in an approved container including replacing liners in waste baskets and placing collected trash in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
• Performs periodic work: High dusting, leather and wood surface (non-floor) polishing, wall washing, venetian blind cleaning, etc.

Requirements

• Prior Cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must be able to speak, interpret and read the English language with fluency
• Ability to follow schedules, keep commitments & demonstrate professionalism
• Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably
• Have a valid drivers license and your own transportation.
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.
