We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team in Walnut, California. Responsibilities:
• Process weekly student refunds, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely completion of transactions.
• Reconcile complex financial data across multiple systems, including PeopleSoft and banking platforms.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing student inquiries related to billing, account balances, and collections.
• Manage sensitive collections-related calls with professionalism and tact, ensuring issues are resolved effectively.
• Review and audit student accounts to identify discrepancies and communicate balances owed.
• Support cashiering operations by handling cash-related transactions and preparing detailed reports.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and reconciliation tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and maintain system integrity.• Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Experience with transactional accounting in high-volume environments; familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle escalated calls professionally.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile complex datasets across multiple systems.
• Effective communication skills to interact with students and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with financial markets or tools such as Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
