Job Summary
F&I Manager is responsible for selling financing, warranty, maintenance, and insurance programs to new and used buyers. The F&I Manager also helps qualify customers and works with financial lenders to develop competitive and compelling financing programs. This position is located at Stroom Powersports which is an entity of Van Wall Equipment. It would provide all finance and insurance options for powersports related vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Presents relevant financing and insurance to customers and provides them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and a manufacturer/dealer service options/policies/procedures
-Develops good working relationships with key lending institutions and maintains detailed knowledge of current rates and programs
-Processes finance and leasing agreements accurately with the necessary lender and governmental approval and compliance
-Trains and provides the sales team with information to help pre-market the dealership finance and insurance programs
-Prepares weekly and monthly reports as requested by management
-Achieves monthly forecasts for F&I income, penetration levels, and customer service scores
-Serves as a unit salesperson as opportunities and schedules dictate
-Proactively assists with other departments as time and priorities
Position Qualifications
-Associates or Bachelor degree required
-5+ years of total professional experience
-2+ years of automotive or Powersports experience preferred
-Ability to work weekends and extended hours
-Strong background in business, mathematics, marketing and computers
-Energetic and positive attitude with a proven record of building strong relationships with fellow employees and customers
-Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a process-driven environment
-Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
