Family Medicine - Physician Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to deliver comprehensive outpatient services and act as a Primary Care Provider for communities in need. This role includes performing medical assessments, creating treatment strategies, and collaborating with a range of support services such as dental, mental health, and social work. Candidates must be licensed, board-certified or eligible, possess excellent communication abilities, and have experience with electronic medical records.

Location: Near Panorama, CA
Status: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Compensation: $100.00 — $125.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Family Physician to provide care to underserved populations. This role emphasizes multi-generational healthcare in a supportive environment that includes dental, mental health, and social work services. The ideal candidate will deliver thorough outpatient and family practice medical care, engage in direct patient interactions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and handle various clinical and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for designated patients.
  • Respond to patients’ urgent medical concerns.
  • Perform medical evaluations, including patient history, physical examinations, laboratory tests, imaging, referrals, and other diagnostic assessments.
  • Create problem lists and formulate treatment plans.
  • Initiate treatment orders and procedures as necessary.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health practices and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate care with clinical staff for patients and their families.
  • Consult with the Clinical Director when required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid medical license to practice in California.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
  • Current DEA License.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in medical Spanish is a plus.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and their families.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records is essential.
