We are seeking an Executive Assistant & Office Manager, to support the executive leadership team of an education tech startup. This dual-role provides high-level administrative support to the founders while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the company’s NYC office. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, is proactive in anticipating needs, and brings structure to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the co-founding executive team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including booking rooms, preparing agendas, and ensuring follow-ups
  • Manage logistics for sales team and company-wide travel (flight and hotel booking, itineraries, etc.)
  • Plan and coordinate company events and team offsites
  • Oversee daily operations of the NYC office, including vendor relationships, inventory, and basic facilities upkeep
  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for on-site guests and candidates during in-office interviews
  • Assist with light ad hoc operational tasks that support broader team efficiency
  • Proactively identify ways to reduce friction and improve executive and team efficiency
  • Adapt easily to a startup environment and wear multiple hats as needed
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both in-person and remote team members
  • Foster a professional, welcoming, and inclusive environment in the office

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in executive support, office management, or operations within high-growth or startup environments
  • Ability to manage complex schedules, navigate multiple priorities, and collaborate with leadership; strong judgment and discretion expected
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and builds processes from the ground up
  • Personable and confident communicator who can interact with senior leadership and team members alike

Salary: Up to $120,000/yearly & comprehensive health coverage

Location: New York City, NY. Full-time, hybrid work setting
