We are seeking an experienced Epic Beacon Application Analyst to support a health system that recently completed an Epic implementation and went live within the past several months. This role will focus primarily on post–go-live stabilization , including break/fix support, incident resolution, and delivery of small enhancement requests and minor projects to improve oncology workflows.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a production environment, supporting clinical users, and balancing reactive support with proactive optimization efforts.
Provide day-to-day break/fix and stabilization support for Epic Beacon following a recent go-live.
Triage, analyze, and resolve incidents and service requests related to:
Oncology treatment plans and protocols
Chemotherapy and infusion workflows
Orders, scheduling, and documentation within Beacon
Clinical decision support and safety checks
Investigate and resolve issues impacting patient care, clinician efficiency, or regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with oncology clinicians, pharmacists, nursing staff, and operational leaders to understand issues and enhancement requests.
Design, build, test, and deploy small enhancements and minor optimization projects within Epic Beacon.
Support workflow refinement and system optimization based on post–go-live feedback.
Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements and fixes.
Maintain build documentation, change records, and workflow diagrams.
Follow change management and governance processes for production support.
Provide knowledge transfer and ongoing support to internal IT teams as needed.
Remote position with limited or no travel expected.
Fast-paced, production support environment requiring strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
4+ years of Epic application analyst experience with a focus on Epic Beacon .
Experience supporting post–go-live Epic environments , including break/fix and stabilization efforts.
Strong understanding of oncology workflows, including chemotherapy ordering, administration, and documentation.
Experience working in a ticket-driven support environment (ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar).
Ability to troubleshoot complex workflow and build issues in a live production environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clinical and operational stakeholders.
Epic Beacon certification or demonstrated proficiency (certification preferred).
Experience supporting oncology services in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
Familiarity with related Epic modules such as Willow, Ambulatory, Cadence, or Prelude.
Prior experience delivering post–go-live optimization or stabilization projects.
Experience participating in on-call or after-hours support rotations.
