HSE Manager Austin, TX (On-site)
A well-established industrial organization is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead safety and compliance efforts across multiple operations in the Austin area. This is a key leadership role focused on cultivating a proactive safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and evolve the company’s health, safety, and environmental programs across all facilities.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and frontline teams to promote safe work practices and ensure consistent policy execution.
• Develop and implement SOPs, training programs, and incident response protocols.
• Monitor and report on safety KPIs, regulatory compliance, and environmental performance.
• Champion initiatives aligned with MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and TCEQ standards.
• Investigate incidents and manage workers’ compensation reporting and resolution.
• Drive change through coaching, training, and cross-functional engagement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental management, or related field—or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in HSE leadership within industrial, construction, or materials environments.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state safety regulations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, influence culture, and implement scalable safety systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management platforms.
Work Environment: This role requires regular presence on the production floor and outdoor work areas. Candidates must be comfortable navigating rugged terrain and lifting up to 100 lbs as needed.
