Job Summary

Seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) with at least 15+ years of experience in Medium/Low Voltage (up to 33kV) in Electrical Design Engineering Projects. You should be experienced with American, NFPA/ NEC and API Standards and codes in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemicals & other associated industries.

 

Job Description

  • Assist in re-defining company's Professional Engineering Practices suiting to client needs and complying with state requirements
  • Perform Engineering design reviews and PE stamping on applicable Design documents.
  • Work with Engineering Design team in India for project coordination, vendor coordination and design updates
  • Support Vendor Coordination, Vendor Drawings review, client reviews and Construction queries

 

Skills Required

  • Extensive client and stakeholder management e.g. ability to build relationships with clients, a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Should be able to work on multiple small/medium size projects
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills, communication and behavioral skills.
  • An organized approach to work e.g. attention to details, Patience, Strong work ethic.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in various phases of project life cycle (FEL, FEED, DE)
  • Experience in Plant Capital or expense projects, Plant Maintenance or reliability or sustenance projects.
  • Should be experienced in Primarily Low Voltage Design and Medium Voltage Design (up to 33kV) with Hands on Experience in Electrical equipment like Transformer, MCC, Substation, One Line Diagram, Power Study Reports, Cable Sizing Calculations, Load list, Equipment Specifications, Schematics and Cable schedule
  • Should be able to work and coordinate the engineering design with remotely located teams, Vendors and customers
  • Experience in Instrumentation is advantage
  • Basic understanding of multiple disciplines requirements (i.e. Process, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentation)

 

Education/Training/Certifications

  • Licensed Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) 15+ years’ experience Domain experience in Chemical or Petrochemical industries or Refinery
  • Should be licensed in one or more of the following states in the USA: Texas, Louisiana, Missouri
