We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Desktop Support professional to join our team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual who is eager to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our team, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. You will be dealing with a broad range of technologies including iPad, iPhone, AV Equipment, Network Printers and scanners, Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Exchange 365. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-class technical support to all staff members, resolving issues related to iPads, iPhones, AV equipment, network printers, and scanners.

2. Maintain and manage Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring all data is secure and accessible to relevant team members.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Exchange 365, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the team.

4. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems, contributing to the overall technological advancement of the company.

5. Train staff members on the use of various technologies, ensuring they can effectively utilize them to improve their productivity and efficiency.

6. Regularly update and maintain all systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and running at optimal efficiency.

7. Develop and implement effective IT policies and procedures, ensuring the security and integrity of all systems.

8. Regularly assess the company's technological needs, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Energy industry.

2. Extensive knowledge and experience with a wide range of technologies, including iPad, iPhone, AV Equipment, Network Printers and scanners.

3. Proficiency in Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Exchange 365 is essential.

4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff members.

6. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

7. Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate, will be an added advantage.

8. Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.

10. A proactive and forward-thinking approach, with the ability to anticipate and plan for future technological needs.
