Dental Receptionist

Greenville Root Canal Specialist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. Youll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in delivering an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Schedule: Part Time, Monday - Thursday 7AM-12PM & Friday 7:30AM - 1:00PM

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of workspaces to endure a safe and sanitary environment
• Regularly disinfecting surfaces, organizing supplies, and maintaining general cleanliness in accordance with company standards
• Supporting team efforts to uphold hygiene and cleanliness in all shared and individual areas
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $16 - $18 per hour.
