Job Description
We are looking for a customer-oriented service representative to join our small but mighty in-person team. The Customer service representative will act as a liaison, provide services information, answer questions, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.
We are looking for a patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative individual who loves to talk and understands the value of good communication skills. An individual who can put themselves in their customer’s shoes and advocate for them when necessary. The goal of the customer service representative is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage large amounts of incoming phone calls
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and electronically file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements/Skills
• Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
• Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
This is a full time, direct-hire hourly job located fully in-person in St. Paul, MN. Regular hours are M-F, 8-4:30.#5572
