Come join the global leader in AI-driven contract review! We’re seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join our legal content team.

Overview

In this role you will develop high quality contract review playbooks, and contract templates, for a range of contract types. You’ll dive deep into contract provisions to provide negotiating insights to our customers, and you’ll work closely with AI developers to train and improve our legal AI. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced commercial lawyer who loves contracts, writing, and research, and is also ready for new challenges and a desire to work in both legal and business contexts.

Responsibilities

• Create legal content that powers our AI – including creating contract review playbooks, model contract language, practical guidance that explains contract provisions and provides insights for negotiation, and contract templates
• Translate legal concepts clearly and persuasively into help center articles and sales and marketing training materials
• Learn and develop expert-level knowledge in new contract areas
• Support Customer Success and Sales with client facing calls for training and assistance
• Familiarity with AI prompt systems a plus

Qualifications

• JD and active membership in a US state bar
• 5+ years experience primarily focused on commercial contracting in an in-house context, working with a range of common contracts, demonstrating a deep knowledge of commercial contracting
• Ability to write contract language and guidance that is clear and practical
• Ability to translate legal concepts clearly and persuasively into written sales, marketing, and help center materials
• Experience working with product teams in the development of new features
• Deeply interested and active in learning and developing expert-level knowledge in new contract areas
• Driven to set a high standard and continuously improve
• You have a bias for action and are a self-starter
• You are organized and have high attention to detail
• Collaborative team player able to work well with others
• Relentlessly resourceful – able to get things done despite constraints, roadblocks, and setbacks
• You have experience managing complex, document-centric projects
