The Position

Our bank client is seeking a Chief Executive Officer in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the bank's strategic and operational performance, including growth and profitability.

This position offers a salary of up to $125K plus bonus and a full benefits package.

Chief Executive Officer responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing and achieving the bank's strategic direction and ensuring key performance results across the organization.
  2. Developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with private and public sector stakeholders to support expansion and growth.
  3. Leading the Executive Team to improve business processes, leverage digital transformation, and deliver customer-centric services.
  4. Meeting regularly with the Board to discuss material issues and provide necessary information for statutory and other obligations.
  5. Monitoring the financial position of the bank to ensure appropriate balance of finance, cash flow, and statutory compliance.
  6. Identifying and mitigating strategic and operational risks.
  7. Leading efforts to meet customer service standards and promote customer-centric services across the bank.

Skills and experience required:

  • Masters Degree
  • At least ten years experience in banking or finance
  • At least five years in senior executive management
  • Strong background in bank operations
