About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer for Consumer and Small Business Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with various teams to deliver on business priorities, regulatory commitments, and targets. This role involves building and executing data strategies, particularly in the areas of regulatory delivery and business transformation. The Chief Data Officer will also be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of business priorities, defining and executing strategies, and implementing data governance and management. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and at least 15 years of experience leading teams in a matrix environment, with a strong preference for those with a background in financial services or the payments industry. The role requires expertise in meeting regulatory obligations, building high-performing teams, and a proven track record in data and analytics. The Chief Data Officer will be expected to stay abreast of emerging industry technologies and bring best practices to the company. The position demands a leader who can assess the current state of data platforms and processes and align them with the company's enterprise strategy, while also managing a team of data professionals.
