Job Description

We are seeking Commercial Vehicle Drivers to deliver various grades of gasoline to local business fleets in the Houston area.  All routes are local, Drivers never go furher than 100 miles from the truck terminal.  New Drivers earn $28 per hour for the first 90 days and an increase to $28.50 at 90 days.  Drivers also earn time and a half for working select holidays.  Additionally, Drivers earn a quarterly bonus based on the number of gallons they deliver.  Benefits include medilcal insurance for the Driver and qualrified dependents with coverage in effect at 30 days of employment, 401K with a matching contribution up to 4%, Paid Time Off accrual beginning at 90 days,  and uniform reinbursement.  This is an evening/night shift and weekend availability is required.

The Duties and responsibilities of the Driver positon include but are not limited to:

• Driver company owned vehice with various grades of gasoline.
• Directly pump gas from tanker to customer vehicle/asset.
• Ensure all safety best practices are always followed.
• Maintain regular communication with logistics.
• Follow all route guidance.
• Completes regular safety pre and post inspections.
• Utilize company technology to accurately manage fuel inventory and customer delivery requirements.
• Complies with all state and local DOT laws.
• Fills tankers with needed fuel for deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Valid CDL A or B.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial drivng experience.
• Must currenty have Hazmat and tanker endorsements on license.
• Attended a formal driving traiing program or school preferred.
• No major violations (wreckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, durg or alcohol related).
• Clear criminal background check and review of Motor Vehicle Report.
• Clear a pre-employument drug screening.
• No more than 3 violations in the prior 36 months.
• Team player, demonstrates flexibility.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to work evenings/nights.
• Some weekend availability.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to get in and out of trucks multiple times per shift.
• Must be able to carry hoses weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
