Job Description
Universal Traffic Service has an opportunity for you, in our Operations Department,as a Truckload Specialist. You will work directly with our carriers to manage truckload shipments of every type - van, flatbed, refrigerated, expedited, specialized equipment, and more. One year of truckload negotiation/procurement experience is preferred but not required.
The scope of this position includes:
· Communicating effectively with our clients, carriers, and vendors
· Negotiating in the truckload spot market
· Navigating load boards and carrier platforms
· Ensure Shipment details are accurately communicated to carriers
· Problem solving when working with carriers
