Regions is seeking a Cancer Genetic Counselor individual with strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to join our Oncology team. This position is a full time, hybrid role. In this position you will provide a process for assessment of individuals and families at risk for genetic-related cancers and to provide education for families regarding transmission, prevention and screening based on the age-specific needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric population served. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: FTE: .7 (28 hrs. weekly), Day Shift Required Qualifications: Graduate from a specialized Master’s degree program in medical genetics Board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics Licensed as a Genetic Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Preferred Qualifications: At least one year of experience in cancer genetics counseling preferred.
