This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and industry trends to deliver comprehensive and reliable valuation services to clients. Key Responsibilities: Valuation Analysis and Reporting: Conduct detailed business valuations using various methodologies, including income, market, and asset-based approaches. Prepare comprehensive valuation reports that clearly present findings, methodologies, and recommendations. Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and other relevant data to determine value. Compile detailed spreadsheet analyses regarding expenditures and tracing of flows of funds, as needed. Project Management: Oversee valuation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints. Supervise and mentor junior valuation staff and analysts, providing guidance and support as needed. Review and provide feedback on the work of team members to ensure high-quality deliverables. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all valuation work complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement quality control procedures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of valuation assessments. Industry Research and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact valuation practices. Contribute to the development of valuation methodologies and tools to enhance service offerings. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; One or more valuation credentials (e.g., ABV, ASA, CBA, CVA) or plans to obtain in the near future. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Skills: Strong knowledge of valuation techniques and financial modeling. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with entity structures and related tax forms. Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
