Position Overview
We are seeking a Textile Finishing Apprentice to join our skilled workshop team. In this role, you will assist in finishing our products — including gluing, sewing, seaming, wrapping, and edge finishing. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals passionate about design and craftsmanship, with clear pathways to grow into higher-level roles such as Craftsman, Senior Craftsman, and Master, each with corresponding pay scales.
What You’ll Do
Work alongside experienced craftsmen on textile finishing tasks
Read and follow work orders and quality sheets
Maintain high-quality standards throughout all projects
Use tools such as tape measures and basic hand equipment daily
Support production schedules and meet delivery timelines
What We’re Looking For
Ability to read and write in English
Strong basic math and measurement skills (tape measure proficiency required)
Basic computer skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
Reliability, coachability, and a strong work ethic
Passion for design and willingness to learn the craft
Compensation & Schedule
Starting pay: $18/hour
Schedule options:
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Flexibility for extended hours when needed
