A bit about us:

Our client provides chronic infusion therapy in an outpatient clinic setting. Infusions include biological medications, intravenous immunoglobulin, blood products, and antibiotic therapy. Other services include medication injections and IV Hydration.

*** This is a full-time position working 5, 8-hour shifts per week. 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

Job Details

We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Referral, Eligibility & Authorization Specialist to join our team and help patients get the infusion therapies they need—on time and without unnecessary delays. In this role, you’ll coordinate referrals, verify insurance, and secure prior authorizations for high-cost infusion and injectable medications.

What You’ll Do:

• Review and process incoming referrals from providers.
• Verify patient insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Obtain and track prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and services.
• Communicate with providers, payers, and patients to gather required information.
• Document all steps in the EHR and follow HIPAA compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or prior authorization—infusion or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and payer requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
