Job Title: Associate Attorney – Defense Litigation (Dallas, TX)

Experience: 5+ years

Our client is a highly respected law firm in Dallas, Texas, known for its excellence in litigation and strong track record representing major corporations in complex, high-value cases. The team is now seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney (5+ years of experience) to handle complex, high-stakes personal injury defense litigation . This role is onsite in Dallas, TX and offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases with nationally recognized clients, including those in oil & gas, trucking, and other high-risk industries .

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent corporate clients in complex personal injury defense litigation , from intake through trial.
  • Manage a caseload of high-value matters, often involving millions of dollars in potential exposure.
  • Conduct discovery, draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and prepare for trial.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar .
  • 5+ years of post-law school experience , preferably at the associate level.
  • Strong background in defense litigation , particularly complex/high-value personal injury defense .
  • Experience in industries such as oil & gas, trucking, construction, or other high-risk sectors preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation :

The annual salary for this position is between [$150k – $180k] Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
