Assistant Director, Marketing & Fan Experience Department of Athletics, University of Cincinnati Job Overview Full‑time Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Experience (Program Coordinator). Responsible for delivering a world‑class fan experience, managing marketing duties, generating revenue, and increasing attendance at athletic events. Essential Functions Implement marketing and promotional plans for selected sports (baseball and volleyball) with strong focus on ideation, execution of digital campaigns. Support fan experience elements for football, men’s basketball, and other sports including tailgating, open houses, spring games, pep rallies. Create strategies and relationships to positively differentiate live home events from television, enhancing fan engagement and increasing attendance, especially through student, youth, family and community outreach. Develop and implement creative, innovative, and impactful ideas to fuel interest in Bearcats athletics. Assist in managing student capstone and internship programs (Bearcats Marketing Association). Assist in management of student applications focused on driving student attendance and rewards. Participate in revenue generating initiatives, including student season ticket sales. Support day‑to‑day operations of the marketing department. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of education. Required Experience One (1) year of program coordination experience.
