Assistant Counseling Manager, Recovery and Wellness
Purpose & Scope:
The Assistant Counseling Manager is responsible for assisting in the management and provision of counseling services and staffing plans. This includes assisting in counseling and case management activities, admissions and discharge planning, monitoring documentation standards, and responding to fluctuations in patient volume and staffing needs. This individual assists in new employee training and student intern supervision. This individual assists in managing the collection of referrals and reporting to the Director of Social Services.
Education:
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or another related field is required.
Experience:
Five years in behavioral health counseling is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Virginia Department of Health Professions, or
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) by the Virginia Department of Health Professions,
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
BLS certification is preferred
