️ Experienced Architectural Sheet Metal Worker – Copper Roofing & Flashing Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Architectural Sheet Metal Worker with specialized experience in copper roofing and flashing to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence (experience with insulated wall panels and ACM panels also needed)

️ Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Sheet Metal Worker , you will:

• Fabricate and Install: Produce and install architectural sheet metal components such as standing seam metal roofs, wall panels, fascia, soffit, gutters, downspouts, and custom metalwork.
• Soldering Expertise: Utilize advanced soldering techniques to create watertight joints in copper roofing and flashing systems, ensuring long-term durability and performance.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements and fabrication processes.
• Metal Shaping: Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery like shears, brakes, and presses to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.
• Assembly and Joining: Employ mechanical and soldered connections to assemble copper components, ensuring structural integrity and weather resistance.
• Installation and Repair: Install architectural sheet metal products and systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

✅ Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural sheet metal work, (helps if focused on copper roofing and flashing or ACM panels)
• Soldering Skills: Proven ability to perform high-quality soldered joints in copper materials, including flat-seam and cap flashing applications.
• Knowledge: Understanding of soldering techniques, including surface preparation, flux application, and joint formation, to ensure durable and watertight seams.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with soldering irons, propane torches, and other tools used in copper sheet metal work.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.
• Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
