JOB OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking a reliable and skilled Equipment Mechanic to join an equipment dealer in the West Houston area. This position offers hands-on work with John Deere and comparable agricultural/turf machinery, supporting customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of agricultural, turf, and light construction equipment.
• Perform detailed inspections and service work following manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, including time, parts, and work performed.
• Keep a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with major equipment brands and systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems (ag/turf equipment experience strongly preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple service tasks.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality results.
• Solid communication and documentation skills
